Terms of Service
Last updated: April 15, 2026
Welcome to Flow Practice. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of flowpractice.io and any services we offer (together, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
- United States: 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), call or text
- United Kingdom: 116 123 (Samaritans)
- Canada: 988 (Suicide Crisis Helpline)
- Brazil: 188 (CVV - Centro de Valorização da Vida)
- International: findahelpline.com
- Emergency: your local emergency services number
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
2. What Flow Practice is (and isn't)
Flow Practice offers two complementary products:
- For therapists in private practice: an AI-powered workspace for notes, session records, case conceptualization, and client management. Flow Practice supports therapists in their clinical work; it does not replace their professional judgment and is not itself a clinical decision-making tool.
- For people in therapy: a reflection and journaling tool that sits alongside your existing therapy. It helps you capture notes and share them with your therapist when you choose to. It is a supplement to professional therapy, not a replacement.
In both cases, Flow Practice does not:
- Provide medical, clinical, or psychological advice to end users.
- Diagnose, treat, or prevent any mental-health condition.
- Serve as a crisis intervention or emergency service.
- Replace the professional judgment of a licensed therapist or clinician.
The AI assistant in Flow Practice is a tool for reflection and organization, not a therapist. It cannot assess risk, provide diagnosis, or handle emergencies.
Therapists using Flow Practice are solely responsible for the clinical care they provide to their clients and for compliance with applicable licensing laws, professional ethics, and data-protection rules in their jurisdiction.
3. Early access and pre-launch status
Flow Practice is currently in pre-launch. When you sign up (as a therapist or as a client of a therapist), you are joining a waitlist to be notified when the Service goes live. Therapist early-access onboarding is free of charge. If you choose to become a client-side early adopter by paying a refundable deposit, you are reserving a founding spot - not purchasing an active service. See the Refund Policy for details.
4. Payments and early-adopter deposit
- The early-adopter deposit is €4.99.
- Payment is processed securely through Stripe.
- If we do not launch Flow Practice to early adopters within 30 days of your payment, you will receive an automatic full refund.
- You may also request a manual refund at any time before launch by emailing hello@flowpractice.io.
- See our Refund Policy for full details.
5. Your content
Once Flow Practice launches, any notes, voice recordings, reflections, or other content you create in the Service will be yours. We do not claim ownership. We do not use your content to train AI models. You can export or delete your content at any time.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Flow Practice to:
- Violate any law or the rights of others.
- Impersonate any person or entity.
- Upload malicious code, spam, or harmful content.
- Attempt to access other users' data without authorization.
- Reverse-engineer or copy the Service without permission.
7. Account termination
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time by emailing hello@flowpractice.io. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
8. Intellectual property
Flow Practice, its logo, name, and all related branding are owned by us. You may not use them without our written permission. You retain all rights to your own content.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. Your use of the Service is at your own risk.
We make no warranty regarding the clinical effectiveness of Flow Practice. The Service is not a medical device and has not been evaluated by any regulatory body.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Flow Practice and its founders, advisors, and service providers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (typically €4.99 for early adopters, or $0 for free users).
11. Changes to the Service and these Terms
We may update the Service and these Terms as Flow Practice evolves. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email when possible. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Flow Practice is legally established. Any disputes will be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and if necessary, in the courts of that jurisdiction. For EU and UK users, nothing in these Terms affects your statutory consumer rights.
